Fulneck Golf Club`s Junior Trophy was held on Saturday 6th September 2014. This is a significant stage in the revival of the junior academy, with a field of 20 juniors 16 boys and 4 girls playing for this trophy for the 1st time in 8 years.

All participants received a gift presented by the 2014 president of Fulneck Mr John Pollard. The winner of the Best Gross Score and playing of a zero handicap was Matthew Butcher with a score of 23 over the shortened 5 hole junior course.

Two players, Archie Burden and Harry Pollard tied for the lead with a nett score of 22 with the winner of the Junior Trophy being Harry Pollard on a count back.

Well done to all who attended both during the day and the evening presentation (where all 20 player and families attended)

Junior coaching is held at Fulneck Golf Club every Saturday afternoon from 2.30pm and is open to anyone who wishes to give golf a try.
