Terry’s Secret Garden

Well, that took a while after getting out the begging bowl and going down on our knees, plus a  generous turf donation from Terry Walker the movement of ten tonnes of pea shingle the 1^st hole ditch has been completed. 

There are a few the names being muted and one of them is Sniper Alley.  I have a few issues with this name.

1. Sniper alley is the period of live when you enter your fifties and for no explicit reason you die.
2. I can not envisage Mr Walker lying in wait and shooting anyone who stands on his grass.
3. On the 9^th we have cardiac hill, I don’t think we want to scare of visitors with another death hazard.

I prefer Terry’s Secret Garden, as I could see him if he ever played a bad round, getting out the deckchair and chilling on his lawn with a cold pint of Guinness (non-alcoholic) enjoying his day, in peace and quiet.

Like with most things let us reflect and see which name takes hold whether in fact it becomes, Sniper Alley, Terry’s Secret Garden or even Terry’s Midnight Garden let time decide.
